Thanks so much for the welcome, Ithato and good to see you on here!

I always felt GotE was extremely underrated and I definitely noticed a HUGE difference in how fast I could churn out my HoTs when I had the talent points there and when I didn't.

At the gear level I'm at right now, I have haste coming out of my ears. I was secretly hoping that more pieces of T9 would have critical strike on them, to reflect the awesome 4 piece bonus that we have on there. But that didn't really seem to be the case. So I have more haste right now than I know what to do with.

Without the global cooldown reduction that I'm used to, from the talent as it is now, I hate to think that my HoTs are going to come out that painfully slow again. Maybe the extra haste from the talent may provide the same effect as before. I don't know.

I hesitate to clearly say "It's a nerf" or "It's a buff." I usually wait to see how it affects me personally. Right now, I'm a bit leery, but that could change.

I know that sounds vague and sketchy - that's all I got on that right now.

Congratulations on a great first post, Oestrus, and welcome.

I play(ed) a Resto druid on Lightning's Blade-US, Horde-side, and raided 10- and 25-mans starting with Naxx in Wrath up until the end of last month. Having survived the numerous and sometimes dramatic patches in between, I'll agree with your conclusions here wholeheartedly. It's hard for me to quantify exactly how I make the decisions between blooming and refreshing, but I'd say I make either choice in nearly equal numbers.

Having let my own blog, and WoW sub, lapse, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the proposed 3.3 changes to i.e. GotEM in a later post.
